Notes: This sample plate is part of our collection, purchased from the estate of Richard Mattson, who was one of Carr designer Paul Mattson's children. As you can see from the back, it was signed by Mattson and dated 1937. We were told by a friend that the "Richard" on the border was added in honor of Mattson's son.
