Notes: The first part of the hotel was built in 1885 at 17th and Stout Streets in Denver, Colo. The Annex was built circa 1900 to bring the number of rooms to 300. The 1963 Hotel Red Book states, "Soon – Extensive rebuilding & re-decorating will make the Albany more than ever!" And, in the 1973 Hotel Red Book, the New Albany Hotel is listed with 330 rooms and "Excellent Convention Facilities" including an all-new ballroom with seating for 1,000.
The compote's crest shows the head of a dragon facing left, over a crown, a shield with three flowers or rosettes and a ribbon bearing the words: deus robur noster.
