According to a story (shown above) in the Paris (Texas) News, in 1955, the chain had 36 properties.
Among them were: (in Florida) the Coral Sands Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Poinsettia Beach in Ft. Lauderdale, Soreno Hotel in St. Petersburg, Tides Hotel in St. Petersburg, the Vinoy Park Hotel in St. Petersburg; (in Indiana) the Indiana Hotel in Ft. Wayne; (in Louisiana) the Charleston Hotel in Lake Charles; (in Missouri) the Connor Hotel in Joplin; and (in Texas) the Goodhue Hotel in Port Arthur, the Sabine Hotel in Port Arthur, the Raleigh Hotel in Waco and the Grim Hotel in Texarkana.
The chain eventually dissolved as its properties were sold, repurposed, or demolished over time.
White body plate with a green stripe around the center of the rim that is broken at the top by the chain's logo. It consists of two rampart lions holding a shield with a crown on top. There are three castle towers coming out the top of the crown. The shield has the stacked words "Alsonett Hotels" at the top over a drawing of a stylized rising sun over ocean waves. There are three stars directly under the shield. The rampart lions are standing on ribbons with Latin wording.
