Manufacturer: Homer Laughlin
User: Arlington Washington Park Race Track
Date of cup: 1968
Notes: Arlington and Washington Park race tracks were two of at least six different race tracks in the Chicago area. The Arlington Park Race Track is located in Arlington Park, Chicago. The Washington Park Race Track was first located in the Washington Park subdivision of Woodlawn, Chicago. It later moved to Homewood, near Chicago.
From the 1940s until the 70s, both were owned by Benjamin F. Lindheimer and later, his adopted daughter Marjorie Lindheimer Everett.
In 1977 the Washington Park stands burned down, and the property was eventually sold off for other uses. The Arlington Park continues in operation today, owned by the Churchill Downs Group.
