Notes: It is not known if this plate has anything to do with the Boca Raton Hotel & Club. The design by Douglas Bourne – copyrighted September 1929 – is shown on page 175 of a catalog of Syracuse overglazed designs, though unfortunately misspelled as Boca Ratan. It is a design that includes three sprays of tropical or Southern flowers, with the colors shown in the catalog as red, yellow and green.
