Notes: The Brook Forest Inn is located in Evergreen, Colorado, in the Rocky Mountains. It was opened in 1919 by Edwin & Marie Welz with 130 luxurious rooms. In 1923, the inn expanded to have a large dining room. From the 1920s-1930s, additions were made to the hotel along with several cottages on the hotel's grounds and the famous Bell Tower House.
