Notes: Among numerous Café de Paris restaurants around the world, this creamer was used at Michel Cartier's Café de Paris that featured French specialties, located at 7038 Sunset Boulevard – on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, Calif.
Cartier, who was born in 1913, died Jan. 1, 2012. He was owner of Café de Paris from 1946 to 1971, according to his obituary.
The creamer is a gray blue, a body color frequently associated with Scammell's and Sterling's Platinum Blue, Buffalo's Lune, Carr's Rho Dendra and McNicol's Paragon. It shows the Eiffel Tower intersected by the banner with Café de Paris, all in black decoration.
