Manufacturer: Syracuse China
Pattern: California Poppy
User: Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad
Date of plate: 1952
Note: This common pattern saw service on the Santa Fe's trains as well as at the Barstow Harvey House. The pattern saw exclusive use, even if not backstamped. Other manufacturers of this pattern for the railroad were Bauscher and Hutschenreuther.
Syracuse also manufactured a thinner stock version for household use that can never be interpreted as having been used by Santa Fe.
