This Canterbury rim treatment was used on Rector's Restaurant (New York City) service plates, date coded 1917. The Canterbury pattern was also customized with a topmark for the Delaware & Hudson Railroad and used circa 1920-1950s. The D&H service plate had red stripes, while other railroad pieces had green stripes.
