Manufacturer: Carr China Company
Pattern: Mickey Mouse
Date of pitcher: circa 1920s – 1930s
Notes: his is an early Carr backstamp and an early depiction of Mickey Mouse, hand drawn. Mickey's on the other side of the creamer, too, and the drawing is very close but slightly different.
We're assuming this was the work of someone with a bit of idle time on his hands rather than a sample for Disney.
Editor's note: This entry comes from the Carr China website whose content has been transferred to the IDwiki. An effort was made on that site to capture as many examples produced by Carr as possible, and for that reason they might include more mystery patterns and topmarked pieces, or those that might not ordinarily be thought of strictly speaking as restaurant ware.
