Notes: From Historic Annapolis, Carvel Hall was part of the site of the William Paca House and Garden in Annapolis during much of the 20th century and "was the largest and most popular lodging, dining, and entertaining site in Annapolis." The hotel closed in 1965 and the hotel and grounds have been restored to the original William Paca House and Garden.
