Notes: Sample plate with the Double Tough patterns: Bands: A – Green Band, B – Maroon Band. Sprayed Borders: X-14 – Gray, X-15 – Coral, X-16 – Autumn and X-17 – Aqua. These pattern names are the same for both Corning and Pyrex. The back is marked "Annealed" which means "heating a piece of glass to remove stress."
Based on information from the Corning Inc. Archives, the names of the Green Band and Maroon Band were respectively changed to the Emerald Band and Ruby Band by the 1960s.
