Notes: When Iroquois China's plant in Syracuse, New York, went into receivership in the late 1930s, Earl Crane acquired it from a New York bank in 1939. Eight years later, in 1947, he opened a second plant in Puerto Rico, which he named Crane China. A high percentage of Iroquois China was manufactured at the Puerto Rico plant from 1948 until 1951, when the plant was purchased by Sterling China and renamed Caribe China.

The Crane China name never appeared on the ware produced at the Puerto Rico plant. Instead, it is backstamped Iroquois China with a P.R. for Puerto Rico. The original Iroquois plant in Syracuse, New York, shut down in 1969, and the plant was dismantled in 1971.
