Notes: The 350-room di Lido Hotel opened in 1953 on Collins Avenue and Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Florida. This hotel tried for 3-star status, but went down hill from there. It was finally taken over by the Ritz-Carlton and underwent a four-year renovation with three floors added to the original eight-story building. In 2005, the hotel reopened as the Ritz-Carlton South Beach.
