Notes: The East Bay Lodge of Osterville, MA was a 76-room lodging place that dated back to the late 1800s. According to Osterville author Shirley Eastman, the "East Bay Lodge dominated Osterville's seaside landscape during its glory years in the early 1900s. On a sunlit summer day, the view from the tree-lined driveway next to the lodge was magnificent. Visitors called it one of the choicest resorts on the New England shore. (In 1904, a sumptuous Sunday dinner cost 75 cents.) The lodge changed hands several times over the years and finally closed in the 1990s and was torn down."
This East Bay Lodge topmark is on a Syracuse Sorrento pattern plate, a stock pattern also used by the Hotel del Monte.
