Manufacturer: Carr China Company
User: Edgecomb Steel
Date of creamer: 1946
Notes: Edgcomb Steel, which processed and distributed metal products, seems to have been founded in 1925 (based purely on the title of a booklet produced by the company called "Edgcomb, 30 Years," that came out in 1955). It was headquartered in Nashua, N.H., and then Philadelphia before it went private in 1985 through a leveraged buyout and had its name changed to Edgcomb Corp., and its location changed to Tulsa.
(In its early years, the company had offices in other parts of the country in addition to New England, including a branch in Charlotte, N.C.)
As of 1995, it had been merged into a conglomerate known as Macsteel.
