Notes: Located West of Broadway, from 46th to 47th Streets in New York City, the Hotel Edison was built in 1931 in the grand Art Deco style. Architect Herbert J. Krapp designed the original hotel interior to include thin strips of brass on the walls and ceiling, along with mirrors, murals and chrome-plated railings for the interior Art Deco composition. The hotel was renovated in 1998 and remains in business as of 2008.
Border pattern featuring a gryphon's head on crown, swags, urns and medallions, and an unusual swag with a man's head; and "Hotel Edison" in ribbon banner on a Black Knight body.
