Notes: The four-story Elstone Hotel opened around 1910. In 1911, it was advertised in The New York Times as having 120 suites. A 1912 advertisement promoted the "Sunset Dining Room" overlooking Jamaica Bay. The last advertisement in The New York Times was in June 1915. It is listed in the 1917 Hotel Red Book, but not in 1923.
Maddock Pottery produced crested china on their American China base for the Elstone Park. The transfer crest includes an illustration of a sailing ship. A transfer border of swags and bows flanks the crest.
