Notes: The Eyn Court Inn was a summer hotel located on the shores of Lake Erie about 15 miles west of Buffalo, N.Y. An advertisement for the Inn from May 8, 1926 stated "Mrs. C.A. Nye, who has personally conducted this high-grade summer hotel for more than 40 years, announces the inn is now open for the season under her personal supervision. Single rooms, or en suite; private baths; American plan." The inn featured a Grill Dining Room with chicken and steak dinners.
Another advertisement, dated two days before the above, listed the inn and all furniture and equipment for sale, so Mrs. Nye may have been contemplating retirement at the time.
