In 1916, the restaurant was located on the ground floor of a three-story building at 446 Wabash Street. In July 1916, the restaurant was badly damaged by fire. It reopened after this fire and is listed in the 1918 city directory. In 1919, Fadden is listed as a caterer.
Maddock Pottery produced crested china for Fadden's on their American China line. The crest has green lettering, outlined in red. There are blue rim and verge lines. It was supplied through Ogden, Merrill, & Greer, of St. Paul.
John Maddock & Sons of England also produced this crested china. It was imported and distributed by Burley & Company, of Chicago.
