Manufacturer: Bauscher
User: G W Tuche
Date of grill plate: 1930s
Notes: According to the website militaria.polarhaven.net, "G W Tuche was a defense contractor for the German military during WWII. They made uniforms, belts, coats, and other military related items for all branches. (Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, DAF, SS, etc.)"
Grill plate has a wide and thin stripe on the rim and the logo for G W Tuche placed just inside the rim at the top, with G, W, and TUCHE placed vertically on three lines in a rounded sans serif font. All decoration is bright medium blue.
Of note is the addition on the back to the Bauscher mark of a Swastika surrounded by gear and the words Modell Des Amtes | Schönheit Der Arbeit that translate to: Model of the Office | Beauty of Labor. A Wikipedia article discusses the Beauty of Labor – Schönheit Der Arbeit – Nazi propaganda from 1934 to 1945. "One of its principle functions was workplace design and the beautification of the German work environment."
