Notes: The Griffin & Bland Hotel Company operated three hotels in North Carolina from 1927 to circa 1932: the 350-room Hotel Robert E. Lee in Winston-Salem, N.C.; the 250-room Hotel King Cotton in Greensboro, N.C.; and the 240-room Hotel Sir Walter Raleigh in Raleigh, N.C. From 1933 to circa 1937, the company operated the 175-room Hotel Zinzendorf in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Other hotels operated by the Griffin & Bland Hotel Co. included the Hotel Goldsboro in Goldsboro, N.C., the Hotel Bland in Raleigh, N.C., and the Hotel Petersburg in Petersburg, Va.
