Notes: An entry was found for Harold H. Bycott in "The Monticola," the yearbook of West Virginia University. Bycott was listed as a junior in 1927, and a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Another genealogical note puts his birth at about 1905, in Wheeling, West Virginia.
In the May 1943, issue of The National Underwriter there is the following: "Harold H. Bycott, agency organizer in the Charleston West Virginia agency of Mutual Life, has joined the Red Cross and is in training in Louisiana."
The last mention of Mr. Bycott found was about his participation in the July 1950, state amateur golf tournament held in White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia. The article indicated that at that time he was from Wheeling, West Virginia.
