According to this video detailing the history of Honey-Krust Bread at 1349 Adams Street, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, it was started in 1936 – producing bread (with honey in the recipe) in 1937.
The bakery also built the Hostess House next door that was available for local groups in the community to use. It is not known how this china was used, if it was a giveaway of some sort or if it might have been used at Hostess House.
Green Art Deco-inspired design with what resembles fiddlehead ferns around the border with bright green band on the verge and Honey Krust in black inside a bright green oval interrupting the border design.
