Notes: The blue pattern tends to look blurred, similar to a flow blue although certainly a different process. A variation is shown above in dark green, and you can see how much crisper the pattern printed in that color.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt's hometown was Hyde Park, N.Y. This pattern is shown in Carr's 1934 catalog. Might it have been named in honor of the president at the time?
