Notes: This Lamberton sample plate is a bit unusual because it can be dated to around 1923-1924 by one of the crests. The Nautilus Hotel in Miami Beach was built in 1923 and opened January 10, 1924. This means that the sample plate could not have been made before the Nautilus order was placed sometime in 1923. The backstamp contains only "Lamberton China" with no "M" or "Maddock." This was the backstamp used when the Lamberton Works was phasing out the Maddock name before the Scammell takeover in late 1924.

As known, the icons on the plate are identified in captions on the photo carousel. Most are identified but some are mysteries. We always welcome any new information on potential IDs!
