Notes: The Leamington Hotel was built in 1912 at 3rd Avenue and 10th Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Guests over the years included politicians and dignitaries such as presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan as well as Duke Ellington. The hotel was razed in 1990 and the property is now the Leamington Municipal Ramp parking garage.
Shenango: White body, green and brown ribboned shield with a script L, bracketed by two cherubs. Additional ornamental border design of baskets, flowers and leaves, also in green and brown with accent stripes in shades of blue surround the rim.
Maddock: Lamberton China white body with tan and gray ribboned shield with script L, bracketed by two cherubs. Additional ornamental border design of baskets, flowers and leaves, also in tan and gray, is Maddock's #8001 Nueces Ornaments as identified in a 1920s Maddock Pottery Co. pattern book. Accent stripes in shades of blue surround the rim. Another known manufacturer of this pattern for the Leamington was Scammell's Lamberton China, 1928-30.
Walker: White body, green and brown ribboned shield with a script L, bracketed by two cherubs. Additional ornamental border design of baskets, flowers and leaves, also in green and brown with accent stripes in shades of blue surround the rim.
