Notes: According to Larry Paul, the Syracuse Beverly and Lyncourt patterns are the same design under different pattern names. Beverly was the original #47500 Syracuse pattern design, but at some point before May 1930 the pattern was renamed Lyncourt. See the pattern (above) as found in a binder of Syracuse patterns. It is easy to see the name Beverly crossed out and Lyncourt hand-written. Therefore, if a piece can be dated before May 1930, it is Beverly, and if a piece can be dated post-April 1930, it would be Lyncourt. The pattern comes in a variety of colors, including orange, red, green, blue and black.
Technically, the handled soup cup shown above is Beverly, with 1929 backstamp date codes, and its saucer, with 1933 backstamp date code, is Lyncourt. You can see that both are identical.
Design is placed mid-border and consists of a colored band with an overlay of vines and two types of flowers that are the base clay color (white), outlined with the color of the band and extending into the shape on each side of the band.
