The hotel was located at 309 10th Street, and was in close proximity to the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Depot in the downtown area of Bradenton. The hotel was built by the Van Sweringer Company of Cleveland, Ohio, for the then enormous amount of $850,000. The historic structure became a senior living facility in 1966 and in 2008 is being converted to the Riverpark Grande, an "upscale 40-unit and four two-story penthouse lofts." Construction is expected to be completed by mid-2008.
