Notes: Built in the classical revival style, this 6-story, 400-room hotel was located at 18th Street and Washington Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. Nothing could be found regarding the hotel after 1939. The 1940 Hotel Red Book shows a Milner Hotel at that location and there are other internet references confirming this name change. The Marquette/Milner was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 and demolished in 1988.
