Manufacturer: Syracuse China
Name of pattern: Monterey – DC-101
Date of plate: 1957
Notes: This pattern has been found in a binder of Syracuse patterns as well as in a 1960 catalogue, both shown above. The flowered design is likely cherry blossoms, not just because they are pink and closely resemble them, but also because they're shown on bare branches, and in general, cherry blossoms are known for blooming before their tree leafs out.
The design is shown on the rounded square of the Trend shape.
