Notes: The National Cathedral School is a girls' preparatory school for grades 4-12. It is affiliated with the Episcopal Church and its campus is on the grounds of the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul (National Cathedral) in Washington, D.C. The school opened its doors in 1900 and was started by the first Bishop of Washington, Henry Yates Satterlee, along with philanthropist Phoebe Apperson Hearst.
