Manufacturer: Syracuse China
Pattern Name: Old Man of the Mountain
User: Flume Reservation, Franconia Notch
Date of plate: 1946
Date of service plate: 1920
Notes: This icon of New Hampshire and the White Mountains appears on just about anything that has to do with New Hampshire but it is not known at what venue this service plate and blue-decorated plate were used. Unfortunately, on May 3, 2003, the Old Man slid off the side of his mountain in Franconia Notch. Without the center decoration, this Econo-Rim, blue air tint decoration was a stock pattern by Syracuse.
