Manufacturer: Scammell China
User: Order of the Amaranth
Date of plate: Circa 1920-24
Notes: Website – The Order of Amaranth was founded in 1873 as a Masonic-related women's organization, requiring members to first be members of the Order of the Eastern Star. That requirement was waived in 1921.
There is green, orange-brown and gray décor around edge with the logo of the Order of Amaranth at top – on a Trenton China body. The lettering O of A is only identifier. The No. 60 refers to the Court – or chapter – number, in this case Walla Walla, Washington.
