Notes: Peacock was an exclusive Syracuse pattern made for dining car use by the Milwaukee Road, according to Doug McIntyre in "The Official Guide to Railroad Dining Car China." Pieces were not backstamped for the line. It was in use from the late 1920s to the 1960s.
This Econo-Rim plate has deep blue painted and fired into the grooves of the scallop shape on the rim. The central motif is of a peacock standing among pink, blue and yellow flowers.
