Notes: The backstamp of this plate is marked "Purta Coujeen, design copyrighted." It is believed that the tile border is the Purta Coujeen pattern, independent of the mosque and palm tree motif that are associated with Chicago's Raphael Hotel. (Purta Coujeen was the first wife of Ghengis Khan.)
