Notes: The name for this pattern of coral flowers and leaves in charcoal black or gray comes from its own "design patented" backstamp, but more information comes from a binder of Syracuse patterns that includes it in two color options, blue and chestnut brown (R-11) and black and buff (R-12), as shown above. Additionally, a revised price list from 1932 that includes this pattern, also shown above, describes the patterns as duotones – halftone illustrations of two different colors.
