Date of creamer: circa 1940s – 1950s
Notes: The building occupied by this establishment was located on Campbell's Island, in the Mississippi River off East Moline, IL. The building began life as the Campbell's Island Inn, later became the Ship's Wheel Club, and finally the Campbell's Island Marina. It began in the late 1940s, and was vacant when burned to the ground on October 9, 1979. The one-time exclusive club had been closed for about two years at the time it burned.
White body with dark navy blue border stripes; topmarked with a traditional nautical steering wheel with a boat propeller in the center where the spokes would join. The words "Ship's Wheel Club" appear around the wheel in navy blue.
