Notes: The butter pat and creamer were identified by the great-grandson of the owner of Sonnenberg's in Torrington, Connecticut and Librarian Carol Clapp of the Torrington Historical Society provided the following historical synopsis:
The 1942 city directory lists a business known as "Dick and Mat Restaurant" at that address. The Sonnenbergs (William and Helen) were still living in Torrington in 1942 but no occupation is listed for William so it may be that he retired."
