Manufacturer: Sterling China
User: Starr's Drive-in Restaurant
Date of saucer: 1959
Notes: Starr's Drive-in was a 1950s-1960s chain in Texas offering curb service that was "Always First With The Finest," with six known locations in Odessa, Sweetwater, Brownfield, Colorado City, Midland, and Lubbock. There had to have been at least one more restaurant, because a Nov. 22, 1957, ad for Starr's in Lubbock was labeled "Starr's Drive In Restaurant No. 7." The owner was Kenneth L. Smith.
