Notes: Unusual oyster plate with the shield of the State of Maryland in the center. The banner contains the Italian motto reading Fatti Maschii, Parole Femine which translates to either Manly Deeds, Womanly Words or Strong Deeds, Gentle Words as well as several other translations. The shield includes the coat of arms of the Lords Baltimore (Calvert family).
