Notes: From the Wikipedia: Tavern on the Green, located in Central Park on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City, was "originally the sheepfold that housed the sheep that grazed Sheep Meadow … It became a restaurant as part of a 1934 renovation of the park."
During its years it was a favorite restaurant for tourists and locals alike, including actors and politicians. It closed at the end of 2009.
This is the logo that was used mid-century and is a match for the 1950 menu shown above.
