Manufacturer: Bailey-Walker China
User: Teopas and Manton
Date of plate: circa 1924-34
Notes: Very little could be found about Teopas & Manton, but it was a confectionery located in downtown Toledo, Ohio, owned in part by a James Teopas of Toledo, as well as T. F. Butler Jr., L. L. Lord, Marshall, Melhorn, Lariar & Martin, also of Toledo. It is not known who Manton was.
The design is on Bailey-Walker's Luxor Ivory base with a graceful pattern of urns and beaded and floral swags below that are interspersed by fleur-de-lis – all in brown – with the Teopas and Manton logo at the top in charcoal gray.
