Notes: The Vinoy opened in 1925 and was considered to be a grand resort hotel in St. Petersburg, FL. It was taken over by the U.S. Army during World War II and closed in 1974. It was later purchased, extensively renovated and reopened in the 1990s as the Renaissance Vinoy Hotel.
1923 plate: This Vinoy Park Hotel custom pattern features a center design of two mermaids swimming in the ocean water while another mermaid basks on the island shoreline under the moonlight with a grand ship in the background. The outer border pattern has six small islands with palm trees surrounded by blue-green waters and the inner border features dark blue fish swimming underwater among the seaweed.
1952 plate: This Vinoy Park Hotel custom pattern features a center design of two mermaids swimming in the ocean water while another mermaid basks on the island shoreline under the moonlight with a grand ship in the background. The wide outer border is a deep rich red or maroon color.
