Notes: We haven't found a definite ID on this Walter Powers Co. china, but everything points to a location in Chicago. There were numerous want ads in the 1943 Chicago Tribune for "Counter or Grill Man" and for "Boys over 16 for good paying after school work in restaurants." Saying to apply at your nearest restaurant location. The assumption being that there were several Walter Powers Co. restaurants in the Chicago area during the 1930s and 40s.
