Notes: This 9-story, 250-room hotel opened December 15, 1924 in Shreveport, LA. In 1928, it annexed the older Youree Hotel and became the 450-room Washington-Youree Hotel, home of the Zephyr Room. In 1953, the older Youree section was razed, and the room count became 200. However, it was still listed until 1967 as the Washington-Youree Hotel in Hotel Red Books.
