Notes: This pattern is sometimes referred to as the Whitfield Gardenia pattern. A hard-to-find variation of this pattern is seen with a peach edging, shown above, as is the plate with buds around the rim. The name, dated Feb. 2, 1948, is found a binder of underglazed patterns, shown above.
