Notes: The Wrentham Show Boat on Route 1, Providence Pike in Wrentham, Massachusetts, was a dining and dancing restaurant owned by George and Joanne Mavrides, both the children of Greek Immigrants.
A blurb in the Boston Globe dated April 21, 1937, about the restaurant's reopening after a renovation and redecoration would indicated that it opened prior to 1937.
An ad in the Boston Globe dated April 14, 1968, was for an "Assignee's Sale at Public Auction" of the restaurant equipment and furnishings from the Wrentham Show Boat. The ad stated that the building had been torn down. When the Show Boat actually closed is not known.
Glo-Tan body plate with a burnt orange stripe around the outer rim and Carr China's Brooklyn border design of laurel leaf and berry pattern with beading above and below in brown and tan on the rim. In the center of the well is a drawing of the ship-shaped restaurant with the stacked words "Wrentham Show Boat" underneath.
