Notes: Charlie Zaberer, a former Disney illustrator, operated a huge restaurant and entertainment complex in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey from the 1940s until his death in 1971, at which time his restaurant, Zaberer's, seated 1,200 patrons and employed 160 waitresses and 50 bartenders, with themed dining rooms and animated characters. Adult diners could enjoy "Zaberized" cocktails and live music while their kids entertained themselves in Zaberer's game room.
Charlie's widow, Rita, kept Zaberer's open for a while after his death, but the restaurant eventually closed in 1991.
