Notes: Many manufacturers sold a version of the Adam pattern, all featuring ornaments and swags in single colors including blue, black, green and red.
Click here to see the original U.S. Patent Design 84474, issued on June 23, 1931, to inventor Edwin Hale, assignor to the Warwick China Company. This Adam pattern was also identified as border print pattern 6165-11 (where 11 represents the color green) in a later Warwick China sales catalog.
When Warwick went out of business in 1951, Carr China ended up with their decorating cylinders and briefly began producing some of Warwick's stock patterns, including Adam, until they, too, went out of business in 1952.
